After high school I went to Auburn where I graduated with a BA in
Social Work. I then went to grad school at Alabama where I received
my Masters in Social Work. In 1998 I moved to Washington, DC to begin
working in politics. I did short stints at the US Senate Democratic
Policy Committee and a Democratic Polling firm. I now work as a lobbyist
for Baxter Healthcare managing
the federal political activities for the company as well as state lobbying. Most
of my free time is spent commuting between DC and Atlanta. My
boyfriend lives in Atlanta and I believe that I might have more frequent
flyer miles than anyone in history!
