Dissertation Proposal is FINISHED!
Well, I've finally finished writing my dissertation proposal. I think I did a pretty darn good job, but that is up to Dr. Vierck and my committee to decide. My professor will now get a chance to read over it and make any suggestions he wants to make, but I'm hoping he'll be pretty happy with it. The only major problem I see with it is that the text is 39 pages long (this does include the references). On top of that there are 2 pages of images, 7 graphs, and 4 pages of tables. 52 total pages. I think we actually did have a guideline that stated something like 20 total pages. BUT ... I know a lot of my committee don't have the right background to understand all that my proposal encompasses. AND, my proposal encompasses a LOT of stuff. I guess we'll see. I need to finish my preparation for the oral exam (proposal presentation), and two major hurdles will be behind me.
