Scattered Musings
Below the license plate of a motorcycle cop I saw today: "Smile! I could be behind you."

There is a staircase in front of the UF Architecture building that is terribly designed. The steps are too tall and so widely spaced apart that no one with a normal gait can possibly climb them with grace. Instead, everyone I ever see ascend these stairs decides instead to walk up the sloping concrete edger on the edge of the stairs instead.

Now you can perform your google searches In Klingon. Really. Or Muppet Swedish Chef,if you prefer.

Hobo Promo
So an advertising agency recently took flack for placing ads on homeless people - they handed out placards for them to wear. Is this a clever marketing gimmick - after all, that's a mobile ad that will probably end up on street corners and other importat intersections - or is it just crass and taking advantage of someone while they are down and out? I feel I'm of two minds on this - you?

Virgil Brigman is back on the air!<
It's been a long time since I've posted...things have been a bit hectic around here, as I've been trying to build up a freelance graphic design portfolio and rustle up some jobs.

Amber has a serious nailbed infection that has led to some vicious infighting among the cats. I've never heard her scream like she did at the Vet while she was getting cleaned - and Parker and I were in the lobby waiting!! I'll have to take care of her the weekend while the Mrs. and the little one are away at the beach.

Women's Retreat Beach Trip
Okay, so Parker came along too, but he gets a pass, since he's breastfeeding.

Parker and I had such a great time spending the week at the Panama City beach with my mom, sister, and my aunt and cousin! It was our first beach outing, and I was more than a little nervous to do this without Jeff, but it actually went very well. Parker wasn't as bad at night as I expected.

He LOVED his Aunt Shelli. No surprise. ;)

We visited a little fair by the beach. Parker was adorable, as usual.

We finally get to the beach -- lots to take in!

Dancing with Aunt Shelli

Ferry ride to another beach

Eating Sand

Playing with Great-Aunt Helen

Playing with Oma

All in all, it was a super fun time, though I think next year, if they do this, it'll be a bigger deal to go without Jeff -- he'll be MOBILE!!
