The Infamous Friday Five, 3/29/02

1. If you could eat dinner with and "get to know" one famous person (living or dead), who would you choose? I would probably have said Gwyneth Paltrow in the past, but after her Oscar outfit, I'm not sure I can. I guess I'm not the celebro-phile I used to be.

2. Has the death of a famous person ever had an effect on you? Who was it and how did you feel? Yes. Princess Diana ... I was mesmerized by the TV coverage and even bought the People Special Edition on her.

3. If you could BE a famous person for 24 hours, who would you choose? I don't think anyone ... I'd miss my baby too much. Unless of course, I was doing it specifically to promote breastfeeding by example... that would be ultracool, so maybe Faith Hill or Uma Thurman?? and Uma's breasts?

4. Do people ever tell you that you look like someone famous? Who? Yes, though I think they are mightily swayed by weight ... lets see, Kathy Bates (uhh, WAY too old), Roseanne Barr (puh-leeze), Rosie O-Donnell (cute, but I still don't think so), Mindy Cohn (Natalie, from Facts of Life), or Ricki Lake (not sure if they mean then or now).

5. Have you ever met anyone famous? I can't recall meeting anyone famous off the top of my head, so I am not sure. If I have, I didn't go running up and point them out, regardless. At most, I treated them civilly, and now I can't remember who it was. HA!!
