Mommy Playgroup #2
Well, we went to our weekly playgroup today, and had lots of fun. There were more people there today than there have been before, but it wasn't too many. Parker was gregarious as always, and took his obligate 15 to 20 minute nap. He stayed awake the rest of the time (we were there 4 hours) and crashed when we got home.
Somehow, my mouth opened and now we're hosting this next week. I need to think up what to make as a main meal, with others bringing extras and sides and desserts (yummy!!), clean the house, make the curtains so our house doesn't look so just-moved-in-to, and do I something with the poor lawn and garden. Really, though, I'm looking forward to it ... it will finally make me get these things done.
