Thanks Maddy
My friend Maddy included me in a group email this afternoon, thanking everyone for their support during her and her husband's legal proceedings to get custody of his children from his previous marriage. Sheepishly I responded, explaining that I hadn't known that this was happening and so had not given her support through that nasty business. And she responded:
Oh well, sure you did! I have a picture of your son pinned to the bulletin board in my kitchen and it makes me smileI think I've almost cried this afternoon about four times...wait, now make that five. Yes, Maddy, I'll give Parker that big wet smooch when I get home. And you give a big wet smooch to Brandy and Zachary, too.
