Fast Food and the Furious
I Live My Life a Quarter Pounder at a Time

So last Friday Lucien, Piper, and I found ourselves at the Burger King near UF. This is an unusual building, as it was converted from a former house. There are fireplaces inside, and a sliding glass door in the back. The 'drive-thru' is chiseled out of an original window, and employees are required to walk to the car to take orders, go inside, and bring it out.

That's the theory, anyway. Our order was taken by a clone of Vin Diesel, with the attitude to match. We repeatedly scowled and told us how he was off the clock and was working for free. He then began to explain to Lucien how his meal was not possibly a Meal, as he wanted a shake, and that drinks, not shakes, come with Meals. The service was soo bad that it was like a car accident - you had to keep looking and see how it turns out. At least he didn't chase after us in a bright yellow Camaro.
