Lord of the Flies
I hated having to do genetic experiments with Fruit Flies in High school biology. Having to anesthetize the flies, separate them during those few second of slumber and compare body and eye colors
Now our house has become one large science experiment. We had a few fruit flies thanks to an errant banana, and they have rapidly grown into every room. we've tried setting vinegar/soap traps, which have had some success, but now they've migrated out of the kitchen to the cats litter boxes. Yuck.
I saw an albino one yesterday. Glad to see their gene pool is diversified. If only I could dip the house in ether...
