My Ears are Missing Music!
I think American Idol missed the mark in a marekting opportunity. Why not make the performances of the finalists available for downloads from, say, MP3.com. Everyone would win from such an arrangement: the show's producers wanting more visibility, the runner-up contestants who sill not get a record deal, and those people who supported those who won't make it, who enjoyed their performances and would like alittle memento to keep. Perhaps on the inevitable second installment of the show...
