How to describe tonight? In the words of the actor at the end of the Fast Lane teaser ad, "That party was off the hook!!"
I went with Lucien to Applebees and a group of friends to wish him a bon voyage and to sing at Karaoke night. I had a blast, though I only got a chance to sing one song, and had to sit through some performances that could give the worst performers on American Idol a boost up. Lucien's circle of friends were a friendly bunch and they even invited me to join them at Ichetucknee Springs this weekend. By far the most memorable moment was when two barflies that had been patronizing the bar and going from man to man sandwiched Lucien's friend Jeffrey in a bump-and-grind, and the girls of Lucien's group attempted to vocally extract him from the twister Oreo - which they finally did with the line "For all that is holy, come over here!"
