What About the family?
I just received an interesting email reagrding my blogs. It's surprising in two ways. One, because it means somebody actually reads the blog and visits the website. The second is because it raises an interesting point:
Hey Jeff - just a question from planet Mommy (or Stepmommy as the case may
be) - how come you never write about Parker in your weblogs, but Kristin
always does? Is this a gender thing? Enquiring feminists want to know.
It got me thinking: why is this true. I think the last blog I wrote about directly about Parker and that Kristin didn't beat me to the punch was about him staying up all night. Mostly, I write about Pop culture and things that happen to me during the day or that I observe. Sadly, as I am here most of the day, I only have a narrow window of opportunity to spend with Parker before he goes to sleep, at which point I then do freelance work until I collapse (or, I just collapse when Parker does :)) I don't think it is a gender thing per se - Kristin is around him neearly 24-7, and so she blogs about events as they unfold. Still, it's something to think about.
