Playgroup today was fun ... it was definitely a full group, too. We also have a nice variety of women within the group and at times I feel closest to one more than the others, but that one person often changes. There are 7 other moms (with one baby each) and today we also had a guest mommy (I'm assuming she was a guest ... she might be a regular addition ...) and there are only 2 girl babies. So, 6 boy babies on a regular basis ... these girls have it made, don't they!! It is rather interesting that it depends on whose house we're at as to how long it will last. There are several of us whose babies don't have set naptimes and places (of course, it also seems that the other moms Ferberize (or let their babies "cry it out") so that probably has something to do with it. The CIO-ers always leave relatively early (relative being the active word ... it generally starts at noon, with people arriving through 1 pm, and they leave between 2 and 3). The rest of us stay until 3:30, 4, 4:30, or 5 ... depending. We go with the flow, and when we need to leave (babies demand, or desire, or host's obvious need), we do.
