Up In Georgia
Well, the interview has come ang one, and now I wait to see if I am one of the 3 to be called back for a second round. I have a feeling I came off more as Bueller's professor than a Captain, my captain type, but we will see. In the meantime, I've finally plunged back into bidding for Elance projects, and none too soon, as Kristin's loan are coming due starting in December. We need to see about consolidating and deferring if we can.

This week has been one thing on top of another already, and we've only just made it to Hump Day. My cars brake lights wouldn't go off, the LHS ran out of oil (so much for it being a small leak), and our home computer lost its grounding wire and so would not turn on. After a few hours of 'repair' work, I managed to solve the Honda problem and to fix the computer (with Paul's help), and I felt very much like MacGyver. Now if only I was a top-notch mechanic, or could repair mechanical devices with the power of the mind. Where is the Matrix when you need it? (the Transformer kind, not the Keanu kind).
