Drove back from Atlanta last night
Quite a drive, considering all the holiday traffic. In fact, we ended up taking a back road to avoid some traffic south of Atlanta, as it took us about an hour and a half to go around 30 miles. Thus I was able to add just a little more to my travel map, though Kristin drove the route and I served as navigator…when I was not asleep.
We had a terrific time in Atlanta, and got to catch up with a lot of Kristin’s family. We finally met Jen’s former roommate Karen and with her and Elisa’s help tried to educate Kristin’s cousin Mary about bands of the eighties, such as Paula Abdul and Duran Duran. I’m getting old J
Kristin’s dad got us a working modem, so we should now be back in business at home – I’ll find out later when I get there. First, I think I’ll crash, last night was long, despite the fact we made it home at a reasonable hour.
