Carrie wrote about the insidiousness of the children's song "Down By the Bay" and mused on why the child would not dare go home in it. Well, I think we know why. Our dinner entertainment tonight helped Parker eat, but by the end, I think he thought we were crazy. The rhyming lines we created included:
Have you ever eaten pork with a baby fork?
Have you ever had a yam straight from a can?
Have you ever had potato with a tomato?
Have you ever seen a kid wearing a bib?
I think you get the idea. Scary, scary. Especially because we started running out of things and just starting pulling things out of ... well, who knows where!! But it was pretty fun. I think I like that song!!
