It is amazing how wonderful friends can be. Today, Denise, Salina and I took our boys to the park, and had a great time; for most of the adventure we have the place to ourselves so the little ones were free to roam where they may. We went to Denise's afterwards, had pizza, and chatted. Parker fell asleep and slept for 2 hours, and we we able to have some girl talk and just relax. As the evening came, Salina left, and Denise offered to watch Parker so Jeff and I could have dinner out alone. It was really nice of her, and we took her up on the offer. Parker had a great time with little Braden, playing chase no less. We enjoyed eating Kermit and Miss Piggy at Cross Creek Restaurant (Jeff had frog legs and I had stuffed pork chop). She even called us halfway through dinner (we borrowed her cell phone too) to let us know things were going great. Isn't it the little things that make a difference?

On another note, a sweet friend of mine may be having a second miscarriage in just the past few months. My heart aches for her, because I know how incredible a mom she is. Stay strong, sweetie.

An online buddy, Merilla, called me the other day to talk about Parker's asthma diagnosis (her older child has been living with asthma for a while now) and she was so helpful and nice! I am determined now to keep track of when he has difficulty breathing in anyway (including coughing) AND to find another pediatrician. She seemed rather surprised at the circumstances surrounding Parker's diagnosis, and that just confirmed my own. Thank you, Merilla, your kindness is greatly appreciated.
