Oh, DOOM!!!!!
As I've mentioned previous times before, I have a local playgroup here where I live. It is comprised of 7 different moms and babies. Although all of the babies were born between October and November of 2001, they are all quite different in their schedules and temperaments. So are the moms. We used to always have playgroup starting at 12 noon. Just recently we went to a more flexible schedule where location and time is to be determined by the host, which is on a rotating schedule now instead of the previous volunteer schedule. And heads have started to butt. There are two distinct groups it seems, the ones who prefer morning sessions and those who prefer noon/afternoon sessions. And animosity is starting to reveal itself in slightly nasty e-mails. I am not a joyous bystander. I'm slightly afraid and sad for the group. It seems like toddlerhood has come to our playgroup and temper tantrums will soon be evident.
