There's something I've noticed with some of my local SAHM friends. They have this rhythm, this interaction, that I'm missing. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that they have interacted with children professionally, or have been around many children in my family. Jeff and I were the first of our college friends to have children, and since neither of us truly have a hometown, we don't have tons of friends back there who've had families and settled down. So my experiences with children in general have been really limited. I would say I am not completely comfortable around them and that probably is a factor. One of the moms, Salina, even had a swinging song that she sang to the little ones when we were in the park the other day. I really need to find more things like that.
