Lockheed Takes a Bath
Late last night, I was in the restroom. Lockheed pushed the door open and came in to get some water from the tub, as she does when her water bowl is empty. This time, however, the tub was still undrained from Parker's bath. Lockheed jumped to the tub edge and paced back and forth. Gingerly, she balanced herself on the edge and leaned forward to lap at the water, but just could not reach. Being the epitome of grace that she is, she lost her balance, but caught herself by reacing forward and placing her paws on Parker's large plastic tugboat. The motion of her fall, though, propelled the tugboat across the tub, stretching her body out as she scrambled to find a purchase for her hind quarters. Gravity won out and Lockheed made a spectacular belly flop into the tub. That was worth the price of admission :)
