Our cat, Lockheed, is very, very, very close to being kicked out of the house. If she still had her front claws, she'd be out the door. This cat PEED on Parker's bed the other day, and then PEED on our bed, while Parker was sleeping in it (we were watching a movie ... Star Trek Nemesis)!!!!
I have actually been amazed at the effectiveness of OxiClean ... I bought it recently to help get out some fabric stains. Did you know it also helps eliminate pet odors? I'm surprised, but thankful.
Finally, we rented some DVDs that we were going to watch on our computer, but since having to reinstall Windows because of the Norton AntiVirus debacle, the DVD player no longer works as such. We spent about an hour or so trying to get it to work, downloading software and drivers, and finally decided enough was enough. Jeff either had to go exchange the DVDs for VHS tapes, or we'd go by a DVD player (said in jest). Well, I told Jeff about the ones I'd seen at Target and Wal-Mart for only about $50, and he thought that was a great deal and a good way to spend his birthday cash;). So, off he and Parker went to buy the DVD player, and I went on a whirlwind cleaning spree to turn our pigsty back into a home.
It is amazing how much more proficient one can be without a toddler underfoot.
