Sadly, it has been so incredibly long since I've blogged that I guarantee anyone who used to read is now gone on to bigger and better things. And good for them!! I always have the best intentions about this blog, but never seem to follow through. Do I have Adult Attention Deficit Disorder?? I doubt that, but I do have a hard time finding the time to do everything I want to do.
Our business is doing pretty well, though overwhelming at times. It is also a bit disheartening when many of our clients get to a point where it is all but finished, and then they stop contacting us, so we are out our time AND the 80% due on the project. This is unfortunately not an isolated incident as we have 5 such projects currently on the books. Of course, there isn't much to do but wait, as the clients retain all the power in the relationship. Still, it is stressful.
Our house is like a constant disaster area .... every time I get one thing fixed up and clean, I look over to another mountain of stuff, and Parker's toys are driving me crazy. I keep thinking back to a hundred years ago and how kids had at most a handful of toys (right?) and no living room carpeted with stuff. Still, that stuff can be quite useful when trying to sneak in some work time.
