I Bet Her Name was Wednesday
On Saturday night, we had an eerie encounter with a neighbor's daughter. She was about four and suddenly appeared peering in through our front window. She never knocked, just stared. I went to the door and she asked if she could play with Parker's toys in our back yard. It should be noted this was at twilight - it was rapidly getting dark and it was very cold outside. We told her she had to go ask her parent's permission first. She ran off, then came back a few minutes later and said it was okay. She then proceeded to try and come inside.

This was very unsettling, mainly because we had never met her nor her parents. IMO, given want happened just a week ago in Florida, I would not think any parent would let their child run around like this, especially at dusk. Nevertheless, we bundled up Parker and met her around back, at which point her brother came up and said she needed to go home. Apparently he was watching, but from a distance. Very peculiar.
