A Little Family Update
Today, Parker started saying "o-gurt" for yogurt instead of "o-bo". I'm a proud Mama. Also, he counted three cars on the back of the cereal box he picked out (Apple Dapples or some such .... sugar sweetened generic Cheerios, essentially) ... "one, toooo, vee GOOOO!!"
Today, overall, was a better day. Surprising, considering I had insomnia last night. Still, I managed to get some stuff done, play some with the kiddo, and NOT be stressed out of my gourd. A nice change of scene for me, lately. Lots has been happening it seems both business-wise and interpersonally with some friends, and add to that my sickness and Parker's, and the result is a mess. So, I've taken huge leaps away, I think the business stress will dwindle away, now that one particular thing is no longer involving us, and hopefully my friends will keep in contact. As far as Parker's and my illness, hopefully they'll be completely gone by the end of the weekend.
Speaking of this weekend, the Hoggetowne Medieval Festival is here, and I am jumping excited to go. We haven't gone the past two years, and I know Parker will LOVE it!! I want to go this weekend, though I think Jeff might want to wait until next. I just know if we don't go this weekend, we won't make it. Gut feeling.
