Amber Alert in my town!! I hate our society. It just feels so incredibly unsafe more and more and more.
An Amber Alert has now been issued for an elementary school-aged girl who may have been abducted from a Northwest Gainesville neighborhood this morning, Gainesville Police said.GPD officers responded to the 500-block of Northwest 27th Avenue after a neighbor called 911 to report a child was heard screaming as she was pulled into a car.The girl, who is black, is said to be nine or 10-years-old possibly wearing a white tee shirt with dinosaurs, blue jeans, and wearing no shoes.Police are looking for a small forest green four door vehicle, possibly a Dodge Neon. The vehicle has a Florida Gator license tag frame. A black male, six feet tall, and a white male with black hair were seen in the vehicle. Both men are in their late 20s or early 30s. Both men have goatee-style beards.Police are still trying to identify the child. If you have any information on the search, you are urged to call police at (352)955-1818 or 911.
