You Built a Time Machine??
Parker and I went to K-Mart last night and spent a majority of two hours searching for a deck umbrella with a matching stand. Couldn't find one on the floor, but they had a display model, but the assistant manager wouldn't let us take that one, despite the fact that she said they did not have any more in stock. Finally, I asked a simple stock boy, who went in back where apparently there are boxes of them and brought one out to us!
Thoroughly peeved, I was wishing I could get back those last two hours, when, ironically, a DeLorean drove by. I got this huge goofy Simple-Simon type grin and pointed at it, telling Parker to "Look, look!" Parker turned and said "whoa!" And the passenger of the car flashed this huge smile, as if she gets that kind of reaction fifty times a day to the car. That made the trip worth it.
