On Gates and Super-Friends
Parker is so enamored of Stargate. Kristin told me that he pushes stuffed cat-toy mice through milk jug rings while saying "Go through the Stargate!". Yesterday I took him for a walk to the mailboxes and Parker pointed out the moon. Then he called out for it to follow us and go through the Stargate.
I saw my first episode of Justice League Unlimited last night on the Cartoon Network. I am amzed as to how they took a quality, well-written show and made it even better. More complex dialogue, themes, missions, use of more obscure DC characters, and a more adult tone without becoming something that is not child appropriate as well. Very well done. Between that show and Teen Titans, I think the cartoon medium is aas favorable to the DC universe as film is to Marvel's.
