Electronics, BEWARE!!
We put in a Baby Einstein video for Parker to amuse himself with this late afternoon -- since both Jeff and I were ready to run away , and about 3 minutes into it, we hear nothing from the other room, and then, "Daddy, Daddy!! Fix it!!" So Jeff goes in there, and the TV is on, you can hear it running, and there is no picture or sound. So, we're trying to decide whether we should just stick with the main TV, or if we need a second TV still.
It was nice when he was up later and we wanted to watch a movie or something, we could set him up with something for a little while and have some peace. Now, he'd have to be in the living room watching whatever. Also, the now-dead TV was in our bedroom, and I was thinking when the baby came, it would provide nighttime entertainment when Sprout decided to stay awake (making assumptions based on Parker, but I figured better safe than sorry, right?).
Of course, this breaking, on top of the answering machine breaking, and both of our cordless phones seeming to need new batteries, as they won't hold charge long, I'm beginning to wonder what electrical vortex has opened over our house!!!
