It is all over!!
Now just to wait for the results. I actually threw up right before the last draw, so hopefully that won't negate the whole process. They did 5 draws: before, 1/2 hour, 1 hour, 2 hours, and 3 hours ALL from the same vein!!! It was crazy. Each needle hurt more and more. But, it was "a good vein" and they didn't want to make me a pin-cushion. Too late!!
Now, what I want to know is WHO in their right mind, in pregnancy or not, would chug down the equivalent of 3 sodas within 5 minutes EVER?? I can't imagine ever consuming that many carbs all at once -- following the diet that Victoria sent me, where you have 3 set meals with 50-g of carbs each was hard enough! Hopefully, I'll hear that I pass with flying colors, but if not, then sobeit. Off to the nutritionist I go.
Oh, I wanted to add, that they did let me go for a short walk between the 1/2-hour and 1-hour draws, and they said I could leave and return (as long as I was back with time to spare) between the 1-hour and 2-hour, and the 2-hour and 3-hour. The first hour break, I was trying desperately not to throw up, because then they said they would have to scrap the test and I'd have to retake it -- NOT!!, but the second one, I went to the bank and got out cash, because I was already planning what I'd eat for lunch, 'cause I was STARVING!!! Then, right before the draw, I threw up anyways.
