Now Parker caught it.
Jeff's parents are coming into town today, and Parker is sick. He's been laying around most of the day, and threw up this evening. It was soooo hard not to scoop him up and take care of him like I would usually do. I know that I am still recovering, and picking up an almost-35 pound toddler wouldn't be smart, much less exposing Kira to more germs than she's already been exposed to, but I just wanted to cry as Jeff took care of him. I mean, it isn't in his nature to be as maternally nurturing -- he got upset with Parker when he turned his face away from the sink and soaked them both in vomit (yuck!!).
And, on top of all that, I'm completely paranoid that my incision site is becoming infected. It just doesn't seem quite right to me, and it itches like CRAZY!!! Sigh.
Kira is great, though today she didn't sleep as much as she's been doing, and she nursed a lot more -- I think I get her figured out, and she switches things up on me!! I just hope and pray that she doesn't get sick as well.
