Our neighborhood has community mailboxes. Apparently, they are "under maintenance" for the week, so if you want your mail, you have to go TO the post office to pick it up. First, they have shorter hours because we're a small town. Second, how freaking hard would it be for them to actually **shudder** DELIVER IT TO OUR DOOR?!?! So, we haven't checked our mail since Thursday, I believe, and can't get it until Monday because of "maintenance" to a mailbox that from what I can tell is in perfect working order.
