Status Report: Good
I'm starting to feel good again (I got very anemic), and my mom was sent home today. Parker is doing wonderfully with his "baby sister", and she's just an angel!! I've made a quick announcement page and photo gallery -- http://www.sepiamoons.com/kira/ (the links to the photos are on the bottom).
She is doing wonderfully, having gained weight back IN the hospital!! We left Saturday with her at 8 lbs 7 oz (on a full tummy), and at her check up today, she was at 8, 8 -- on an empty tummy!! So, looks like all is well. She is nursing well, though we are having some latch issues (we had them with Parker as well). I'm so thankful that I've been through it before that I know tricks and have the confidence not to let it get to me. She's gaining so well, and has TONS of wet/poopy diapers, so we're all good.
Oh, AND she slept for 6 hours last night!! I was in heaven, with all that rest!
