Please be a growth spurt
I really, really don't get this, and I'm praying that it is simply her 3-month growth spurt a little early, but she hasn't slept well since Thursday.
Yesterday, she took a total of 2-1/2 hours of nap during the day, AND she was up every two hours at night, just AWAKE. She is currently 36 minutes into her second nap today (up at 9 am, one 40-minute nap between then and the start of her nap at 2 pm), and I just know she'll be up any moment now. She used to take two good 3-hour naps, like an infant is supposed to do!
All I know is that Jeff is handling it much better than I am, but he gets to go to work tomorrow, and I'll have both of them. And the thing is, she isn't content when she's awake with just being among the action -- she has to be the focus, which makes Parker act out (thankfully there are two parents here on the weekend -- another reason I'm dreading tomorrow).
I really feel like I was handed this idyllic situation, and now it has been ripped away from me.
