Yucky Sick
Good thing we sold the tickets because we didn't go to the wedding reception either.
Parker woke up with a runny nose and a cough, and we decided that a 2 to 2-1/2 hour trip in the van sitting next to Kira or with the same air as her was simply NOT the responsible call. Add to that that the reception was on the beach, and had 35 mph winds with a temperature of 71, and it would have been cold -- not too smart for a sick little boy and new baby.
So, I guess it is a good thing we sold the tickets, as we wouldn't have taken a snotty child to it and expose all those other kids and families. And someone got good enjoyment from it! I just hope that Parker feels better soon and noone else here catches it. Namely -- Kira. Of course, maybe that's why she's been irritable.
