3 Months Old
I just adore her! She is such a great baby! She weighs about 14 pounds now (13 lbs, 13 oz last Tues), and is into screeching now! She is definitely teething, as I'm starting to actually see the white lines in her teething "bud" area. She's started spitting up a lot more, which I have to attribute to teething as well (at least, I hope).
She is still sleeping through the night -- in her swing. She has started to become harder to get to sleep though. Parker would nurse for ANYTHING, and it was a quick fix for him, and often knocked him right out. She isn't the same at all. Which is probably why she hasn't been growing at the same rate as Parker did (he was 15.5 lbs by her current age!!).
Her hair is starting to get too long to be a complete mohawk, and I've got some clips that I've been trying to take it with, to little avail. She has definitely got brown eyes now -- and I really couldn't be happier! It just fits her perfectly!! (I always thought I'd hate it if my kids had brown eyes -- but it matches her complection and everything perfectly.)
She has great head control, is sitting up great (supported, but not leaning forward as much anymore!), doesn't mind tummy time all of the time , and ADORES her big brother! She is still giving her little giggle laughing, but I'm waiting for a belly-guffaw still. When she cries, I swear it sounds like she says "Mama". I'd thought this for weeks, but had another mom comment on it just this past week. How cool is that?!?!?
She's trying to suck on her thumb/fingers, but hasn't been satisfied with them as of yet. She LOVES a "a-gggggggooo"!!! and responds in kind. She sucks her tongue. She isn't rolling over yet, or even interested. I adore her.
