He turned into a Big Boy overnight!!
I still can't grasp it.

Parker woke up from his unplanned nap on the couch to a dry cloth diaper. He didn't have to pee right away. I got him another glass of milk and some goldfish. Still didn't have to pee. Finally, he tells me he has to pee (I didn't keep asking him, so this was entirely an "oh, really?" moment). I ask if he already did in his diaper, he said no. I tell him to go on to the bathroom and to go in the potty. HE DOES.

Fast forward to later. Daddy is home. We're watching a Baby Einstein video . Parker needs to pee. Okay, go on to the bathroom. Except, he doesn't sit on his little potty. He wants to stand at the potty and pee in. I leave the men to it. Parker runs out of the bathroom several times to watch the video. He finally goes in there, aims, and pees standing up (he was THRILLED to be able to flush. ).

But, it doesn't end there! Later, after dinner, he has to "poop". So, he goes on his OWN VOLITON (noone even mentioned the word "bathroom"), pulls off his diaper and climbs up on the big potty (we have a toddler flip-down seat there) to poop. He sits for a while, I have Jeff take him some books. He pees unexpectedly outside of the toilet (I always have to pee when I poop -- doesn't everyone?), but then passes gas and finally POOPS IN THE POTTY!!! We only knew because he flushed and talked about the poop going down!! Jeff went and wiped his butt, and that was that!

I am truly in shock. I'll be taking cloth diapers to playgroup tomorrow, and playing it by ear. Is it possible that he'll completely potty-train in this short of a time span?
