The day has gotten INFINITELY better.
Thank goodness. Parker has just been having such a hard time sharing with Kira, now that she's a PERSON and not just an inanimate baby , that I'm just tired of asking him to give that back, be nice, etc. It is exhausting! Even at playgroup yesterday, he was doing the same things to the 1-year old toddler in the group! Even pushed him down!! LIVID!
Luckily, Kira has taken long naps today, and Parker and I have been learning a lot! Like rhythms -- is it possible he won't be the stereotypical "white boy" like his Daddy and both grandpas? We were using the metronome and running around -- he just LOVED it! And we also pretended to be a library. That works great to keep him from waking up Kira.
And, of course, our geography "lesson" as we seem to do every day currently. He HAS to go over where we live, where his grandparents live, go on Google Maps and go over where his friends live, etc. Oh, and visit the "Island of Sodor". Maybe after Kira wakes up from this nap, he'll help me wash dishes.
