Pooh-pooh on you, Disney
Pooh's Playful Spot has opened, replacing the replace the 20,000 Leagues Lagoon in the Magic Kingdom. After reviewing the design, all I can muster is an "eh."
Don't get me wrong - adding another play area for smaller children as Disney is a great idea. It's just the execution of the play area seems rather little. especially for what I've come to expect from Imagineers. Sure, the Pooh theme is cute, but I don't see anything here that I can't get from the Oaks Mall Swamp here in Gainesville - which also has a tree, tunnels, slides, a bridge, and a spongy surface for kids to run on. And I don't have to pay $50.00 to do it.
