Surreal Gaza Moment
NPR was reporting on the destruction of the synagogues following the Israeli pullout today. As the BBC reporter is reporting on the vandalism, an ice cream truck pulls up. What was weird was that ice cream trucks are apparently universal in sound and appearance - across its warbling, off key loudspeakers came the unmistakable rerrain of "Way Down Upon the Suwannee River".
