Update On My Pissy Cat
Just got the results of all the geriatric tests. This cat is ageless. Seriously. She will live forever. Piss on things forever. The vet did all sorts of tests to specifically check for things that would explain her pissy behavior -- no kidney failure (in fact, they are apparently PERFECT ), no diabetes, no hyperthyroidism, no feline leukemia, no FIV (feline AIDS). Nuttin. Except, a slightly low white blood cell count. In fact, if she hadn't lost weight, she wouldn't be worried at all. In fact, SHE thinks her weight is perfect, too, but since she's never been this "skinny" (9-1/2 lbs), we're going back in two weeks for a reweigh and another CBC draw.
I'm happy and yet -- not. She'll outlive us all if THIS keeps up.
