Cooper Scooper
Anderson Cooper, God Among Men, is now the head anchor at CNN. Kristin and I have always liked Cooper, even since we got to know him as the ABC World News Now anchor on late, late night television (By late, I mean the hours of the morning that only college students stay awake for. Students, and vampires. In fact World News Now’s slogan is “More insomniacs get their news from ABC than anywhere else.”)Cooper represents the new reed of anchor, who are much more hands-on than the authoritarian newscasters of the last few decades. As Colbert would put it, “They feel the news at you.”
