Set to Stun, Mr. Sulu
No, I’m not talking about Takei coming out of the closet. I’m talking about the Air Force’s new laser rifle, which is meant to temporaily blind opponenets. The device is called the “Personnel Halting and Stimulation Response” rifle, or, (wait for it), PhaSR. How much would want to bet this is a case of coming up with the acronym first and then finding words that would work?------------------------------------------------
