Worse.
We ended up going to see the doctor this afternoon, since he'd had the high temp for over 24 hours.
Diagnosis -- virus AND bacterial ear infection (he said based on how his ear looked, he had no doubt it was bacterial).
Treatment: 10 days of Amoxil and continue nebs as needed, and Motrin/Tylenol as needed. (He's received two neb treatments so far.)
Official Parker-weight: 33 lbs.
Oh yeah, Kira's got a temp and a slighltly runny nose now.
