Wednesday, March 08, 2006 O2B Kids? Just curious in general about general opinion... is it something you would consider? Too costly? Comparable with other courses/play centers? All of a sudden, I'm wondering -- is this just local? The website is for the Gainesville location, and that is just --- weird if it is a chain. More background. Basically, this is an kids entertainment center that offers a variety of classes (like Dance, Gymnastics, Art, Drama, Karate, Science, etc.) for its members and has a free-play section. They also do Parent's Night Out, and have day-time programs including a Magic Show, etc. There is a monthly membership fee, and then it is first come, first serve on signing up for classes. It isn't incredibly cheap -- for both Parker and Kira, it would be $100/month, but technically they could take as many courses as they wanted. ($60 for Parker, $40 for Kira) I'd never considered it before, but I was looking at pre-Karate for Parker, and thought about gymnastics and/or dance, and the cost would probably be about comparable, but this also includes the free play area. Jeff is NO help in making this kind of decision, so I really am not sure if it is a good deal or not. Or if I should just see if he's interested in things like that -- he has been very non-committal about ANYthing. Thoughts? ------------------------------------------------
