NO ROOT CANAL!!!
I am, as my dentist said, "The luckiest girl ever!", and the 20% chance of not having one that she'd mentioned in passing came true!! AND there is definitely feeling in that tooth -- it is sooooo not dead!!! But, I still laid down almost $1000 for a crown (it has to be gold, with a porcelain front. Because I have such itty-bitty teeth, there is no room for porcelain, apparently). Permanent crown goes on in about 6 weeks!!
