Friday, June 30, 2006 The Comic Book Alphabet I've always been fascinated by Heidi Cody's art installation, American Alphabet. Heidi used familiar letters from package brand names to create an alphabet that is instantly recognizable and expresses the consumerism of today's culture. ![]() I wanted to try my hand at doing something similar, but was stymied as to what to use for my basis. In the end, of course, I went back to the world of four-color spandex. See if you can name the characters below with lettered costumes.
